Another take on Object-Oriented Desktops 0.001 (KDE4 Brainstorm)

I’ve been thinking about new desktop workflow for a while now — something more object-oriented, where you can link objects together, combining their power, much like piping in a shell.

Any thoughts, ideas, graphics, code, or other contributions would be very welcome!

The idea is to treat everything on the desktop as an objects with properties, much like unix treats everything as files with text. So, contacts would be objects with addresses. Lists of contacts would be just that. Printer…
