Usage:
Right-click onto a link to a YouTube video or at the background of the YouTube site showing the video and choose action -> Download YouTube Video -> …

I added a .deb. I made it with checkinstall on kubuntu 6.10, but it should work on any other debian based distrbution, too (I hope).

Automatic Installation (may not work):
tar xvjf youtube-servicemenu*.tar.bz2
sudo ./youtube-servicemenu*/setup.py

Manuall Installation (not tested):
tar xvjf youtube-servicemenu*.tar.bz2
cd…

I haven’t found a service menu for this, so a friend and I created one: ChangeCase service menu

Dependencies: Perl

Features:
- Change uppercase file names to lowercase
- Change lowercase file names to uppercase
- Support for spaces in foldernames/filenames

To install:
1) Put the file ChangeCase.desktop in ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus
2) Put the files renlc.pl and renuc.pl somewhere in your path

This service menu will allow you to right click on one or more files and attach it to a new E-mail with Thunderbird.

For Konqueror:
Just extract the “AttachToThunderbirdMail.desktop” config file to “/usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus” and it should work.

For Dolphin:
Just extract the “mail_as_thunderbird_attachment.desktop” config file to “/usr/share/apps/dolphin/servicemenus” and it should work.
(Note; gutsy uses /usr/share/apps/d3lphin/servicemenus” for some crazy reason

aMule don’t handle emulecollection files by now.Waiting it I’ve created this Service Menu:
it menu let you to extract ed2k link from “emulecollection” files printing them in a window and, the most important, sending them to aMule

To install it:

tar xzvf amulekollection-”version”.tar.gz
cd amulekollection-”version”
./install.sh

KFileManagerUtils is a simple utility which adds several shell extensions to Konqueror:

A very simple service menu script to convert files from ps to pdf.
You need to have ps2pdf command installed. It is normally installed by default, if not (you can easily check with the command “which ps2pdf”) you can install probably using your package manager (in suse it comes preinstalled, other distros i don’t know).

The output pdf file will be the same and the file will be stored in your HOME directory.

No problem if the filename has spaces; in the conversion, they will be changed in…
