I made a new Gimp Splash for Mepis 7. I did not add a version number because I do not know what version will be in the final release.
To install just extract the file and with root privileges place the file in
/usr/share/gimp/2.0/images/

This is an OpenOffice Splash based on the Murrivell Splash made by Marco Boneff.
I colorized the splash with a darker, brighter shade of blue and added a logo created by B2B. I chose to work with the Murrivell Splash because it is one of the most customizable splashes for OpenOffice
To install just extract the files and follow the directions in the read me text.
